4 Ways To Practice Financial Self Care
Financial self-care is you taking time to focus on your finances and figure out how money can be used to elevate your lifestyle and achieve your financial goals.
Sounds easy, but this is probably one of the main things you struggle with.
Here are 4 key ways to practice financial self-care.
1. Start practicing prosperity thinking. If you want to be a six-figure earner, how would a six-figure earner act, how would she handle money, and what would her money habits be? If you're not currently positioning yourself toward shifting your money mindset, you'll have a hard time achieving your financial goals.
2. Use your business as a tool to bring in more money. While you may run a business you're passionate about and love doing, you have to run it like a business. That means adopting some of the practices of big firms, stand on your prices, focus on generating profit, pay yourself a salary and keep your expenses low.
3. Focus on how you manage your money. You should know what your net worth is. Why? Knowing how much you're making is only one part, the bigger part is knowing how much you spend and owe others.
4. Elevate your lifestyle. What got you here won't get you there, you have to seek new environments, experiences, and goals. To be that six-figure earner, you have to mix with others who are already there. Where do they hang out, what events are they at, and what are they focusing on? What goals do you have, a new house, a new car, or vacations?
By focusing on your money you're creating a way for you to live the lifestyle you've been too scared to dream about. Afraid that you can't really have it. I'm here to tell you "YES the hell YOU can."
I challenge you to take one practice and journal or talk it out. If you really want quick results, use them as prayer prompts, asking for help, guidance, and clarity.
